After having over 50 years of hunting experience, I suffered a stroke in 2011. For the first three years after I was unable to hunt, so I traded my hunting bow for paper and pencil and studied the woods and watched the deer during the breeding period. I examined the nuances of deer behavior and was inspired to create a product that provided the perfect hunting environment which is accessible for all.

During those few years of only being able to watch, I started noticed things (that bucks do). I learned what they were up to during the rut phase and the social hub. By not being able to hunt them, I was learning a lot more of their behavior by just watching. I started noticing all the little things, and the patterns they evolve during the rut. I then came up with the idea of the Triple Threat.

From one farm to the other, Triple Threat did great! The deer started to use Triple Threat over their own deer scrapes! The deer had more action on the 8th of November than any day that year. I had told a couple of friends about this. Then two months go by, and I was watching Kentucky Afield and they mentioned KY Fish and Wildlife had done a study and more does were bred on the 8th of November. When these two were confirmed, I got a lawyer and started the process to get Triple Threat patented. Triple Threat was approved after testing and now it is time to release to the public.

Hunters, I can't tell you the secrets, but I can assure you that each Triple Threat I make has the same thing that I have in mine.
